Hi all, My FC wont idle on it's own on start up but after a few mins of holding her at 2k it idels but drops off till it's about to die and then revs up on it's own

After a while it evens off but when I take it for a spin and warn it up it wont idle at all and dies out

Is this a bost leak or idle screw problem ???

Thanks

Yes it works, assuming your wiring hasn't failed and your check engine light bulb is functioning. Just make sure you pin out the correct test plug or, obvioulsy it won't work.

How do ya test a senor to see if it's bad or not ??? What exactly does the check engine light look like or whats it's location on the display cause nothing is happening and none of the lights that come on look like a check engine light

Thanks for the help Thatpoorguy and 89 rag

check engine light usually is just an emblem of an engine or just says check engine lol. as for the sensors, most are simple ohmeter checks detailed in the manufacturers manuals

Ok I've tried the procedure for the 89-91 error codes a few times and nothing is happening

So i left the car with a lad to hook it up to the diagnotic machine and he had the car 2weeks and announced that he couldn't find any socket to hook it up to.

Can anyone tell me where it is or if it's possible ???

Or better again tell me how to troble shoot the problem ???

She wont idle on start up She either cuts out or revs up on it's own when it drops to 200 revs

If i hold the revs steady for a min she will idle ,then take it for a spin and it wont idle at all and cuts out if I try to come to a stop. It starts every time hot or cold no smoke or loss of power and I cant find ant vac leaks

Also the alt has seized twice and snapped it's belt Now it is ideling with no alt belt I took the alt off and it's spinning free now but I'm going to leave it to a lad today to check it anyway I dont think the alt prob is anything to do with the idel problem

So how do i test sensors individualy ???

Thanks in advance

heads recked wanting everything 100%
