Idle Problems

someone please walk me through or tell me how to connected my o2 sensor wire to its origin i own a 86 rx7 some how my wire was cut or disconected from its origin and my car is idleing. I wish to do fix this problem myself but if this isnt possible can some one give me an estimate if i take my car to the mazda dealership.

you could rewire your o2 sensor direct to the ECU. the only hard parts of that will be pinning it into the ECU (i have no experience with that part) and routing the wire into the car. check fc3s.org and look at the FSM.. fuel emissions part. scroll through until you find which pinout is for the o2 sensor...

the connector should be at the rear of the intake manifold, it should have a green connector, single wire
