just got a 93 touring. having problems with the idle. car is bone stock. picked it up from san diego where it passed emissions and brought it back to boise. took it to dealer for ecu service bulletin. nothing wrong. they say bent throttle shaft. to it to another shop. they say stuck rotor seal in back rotor. compression 90 in front 70 in back. they put carbon cleaner in to free seal. no-go. talked to couple guys in local rx7 club. one says tps, one says vacuum leak. no check engine light has come on. with 1/3 of the motor not running i would think it would set off some kind of sensor to trip check engine light. runs smooth at high idle. has good power. starts ok. no coolant in oil. any suggestions???

a high or fluctuating idle could be a number of things....like what the other guys said, vacuum leak, bad tps, and so on. you imght just need a little adjustment of the idle set screw that is on the front side of the TB, right behind the throttle cable.....

how abou tsome more of your symptoms? or is it just a high idle...??/
