Check all your plumbing connections. I was out with the car one day and had a Mustang pass me and figured I'd let her run a little. When I got on it, it felt way slow and I could hear the boost leak. Turned out to be the connection at the BOV. It would idle and drive fine, but would leak off any boost over 1 or 2 psi.

agreeed sounds like a IC pipe blew off or a coupler broke. if you have an internal waist gate thats easyenuff to check with a visual inspection of the actuator rod.

well i checked everything and didnt see anything that would cause the problem. i had installed a sub and two wires from my AFC had been melted together by accident do to the heat from the back of my stereo. is there a possibility that i might had ruined my ecu??? i looked at the waste gate actuator and is appears to be in the rest position but can the gate inside the turbo remain open even if the actuator is retracted.
