My S5 Turbo doesn't seem to be consistant with it's boost levels and are quite LOW. Is this a BAD Turbo?

The shaft spins freely, but seems to have drag on it.

Can I rebuild it? Kits available anywhere? I can't seem to find much info on this turbo anywhere.

I'd go bigger, but it's all that fits in my project.

if you feel the turbo is bad or just want an upgrade check out majestic turbo down in waco tx. i believe its majesticturbo.com but do a google serch for them. there a great company and have a very nice upgrade wich uses the stock turbo as a core.

does it leak oil? does the shaft move in and out?

if you do get it rebuilt make sure to mention you need to use the stock housings, they can put larger wheels in those

Doesn't leak, No play in the shaft. Just doesn't boost consistantly and I've checked everything else I can think of. It doesn't spin like my old S4 Turbo did (free hand method).

Blades looked okay when I put it on.
