So my original problem was my '88 turbo smoking real bad under boost all the time, I think it was seals or bearing or something. Anyways I bought a s5 manifold and a used turbo (it's a factory hitachi rebuilt a long time ago by knightsports). So it smoked for a while then stopped, now it smokes and backfires at about 7000 rpm and up huge flames and ****. Still following? I've got a FCD and full 3 inch exhaust from turbo back. Is it because I don't have a AFC and boost controller? Should I be worried about blowing my motor? Also my TPS reads from closed throttle 1k ohms and at WOT 9k ohms, could this be so far out of range to be causing some problems? Any advice is greatly appreciated, Thanks.
