Okay before I changed the plugs and wires aroiund to be correct I noticed that when I would red line the car while my foot was on the throttle I would not get smoke but when I took my foot off the throttle and began decelration I got a noticable amount of smoke. I have not tried this since the plug and wire fix but what would cause that.? :unsure:

 

dont know what that is but it sounds like mine. when i pump it revup settle revup higher settle etc... i'll start smoking

 

what colour is the smoke, sometimes there is oil mixed in and if you get to much it will somke, or you might have a bad water seal and water is getting passed.



I think it is white smoke is water

and blue is oil.

 

I have that problem with my TII because the oil seals are shot. At first I thought it was the turbo seals, so I had the turbo upgraded and rebuilt, but that was pretty much a waste of money, except that now I get the same power at lower boost.

 

yeah, my friends 86 gxl, when revved up blue smoke comes out too. THis isn't just the oil injectors doing their job is it? Or are his oil seals shot?

 

Oil injectors can be tested.
