OK I am in the middle of getting some replacement twins but now that I have read about 9BASE3's problem I am getting confused. I have a **** load of oil in the IC piping and even more blowing off out of my HK$ blow off valve. I am also smoking like a chimney, usually at low rpm or down shift. On top of all this my intake filter and air box is soaked in oil. I am adding like 1 QT of oil a week now. I can't stop driving it because I need it to get to work. What are your thoguhts?

Sweet!! thats what I thought and I didn't want to go through all the crap 9BASE3 had to go through. My simpathies for ya 9BASE3. So now I will definately be getting those twins replaced.

 

by looking at your mod list you are going to blow up if you dont get some managment

 

No fuel, no boost controler, no problem.

 

I am going to add a boost controler once I replace the turbos but I am also thinking of taking the Mid-pipe off so I don't boost spike. I wish I have the money for a the AEM computer. I haven't heard anything bad about them. Thanks for the heads up. FD3boost, so you say I am ok and won't blow up? I am sure I am will be pushing it if i add the boost controller.
