I was being serious. Slipped my mind it was a T3 though :(
Still should be a walk in the park... |
Right on I wasn't sure. T3 frame yes but I guess we'll see I've heard alot of the pro and con arguments and seen good results from both.
I never got it dyno'd with the new turbo but at 10#'s it pulled hard with very non agressive timing and 11.1:1 AFR. Id like to do water injection with the stock TMIC until I get a front mount down the road. Although right now I have the motor to work on so haha. |

So All 6 apex seals are there and move freely. IT must be a side seal or corner seal huh? When I did the compression test i saw like 35-50ish-then a definite 90psi bump. it hard to get it real accurate reading with a reg. old compression tester with valve out.
Front rotor had 95 all around |

Front rotor had 95 all around Also man was I rich because the rotors are pretty carbon covered. Nice horrible but they used to look like this. Attachment 19566 Attachment 19567 Also lets critique this guys porting please. Tell me what you guys think. Attachment 19568 Attachment 19569 Attachment 19570 Sorry the pics aren't very good it my camera phone went dead so I didn't get the secondaries or inner exhaust ports. I remember him saying he went down alot to help turbo spool on the exhaust ports. |
oops. doubled em up.
the engine was never easy to start when it was warm. It would always fire right up cold. Warm it would be finicky at times. Probably tuning though? |

yeah, that takes a good amount of time to figure out on a standalone yea i think it needs alot less fuel on hot starts, like it was flooding it. I'm happy that all the apex seals are there. thats probably why my turbine wheel is fine! woot woot. Would you here it miss "chugs" with a side seal or corner seal. I spun it by hand and its not missing chugs it seems. its supposed to be one for every half revolution of flywheel right? https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683473.gif im hapepy it should be a cheap project. then i can have money for aquamist...25psi on pump...TIRE SCREAMIN' GOOOOOD SUM BITCH |
just get a nice greddy fmic!
everything else looks really good on that car https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.gif |
