Why would you need to change any of that
Installed on an NA car, then you decided to add a turbo?

or you started with 2 bar and decided to go to more boost needing 3 bar?

The units are the exact same. The NAs come with different base maps. No problem, just a little more difficult to start of with. They come standard with a 3 bar internal sensor.

FD versus FC uses different ignition input and ignition output.

If you wanted to change to a piston engine, definitely gonna have to get it reconfigured.

And who can argue with this:

"Microtech LT8 and LT12 ECU’s can be seen on some of the fastest vehicles in their class on earth like Jose “Siguel” Torres RX7 Pro Import car which runs sub 7 second ¼ miles..."

Above quoted from Microtech website.
I believe there are faster cars running on carbs, mechanical fuel injection, and nitromethane.

And you point is?

I dont know if Haltech and other systems were made for rotaries, but I do know that the Microtech was first made for a 20B.
Oh please, you better stop while you're ahead.

The Haltech E11 is the FIRST aftermarket EMS that can run...

True 20B sequential + staged on 6 discrete fuel injector channels

True 20B 6 discrete ignition channels

Full electronic oil meter pump control

The Microtech LT(X)12 is a hack to control the 20B.

If we're going to argue who came out first, I believe Electromotive TEC I came out with the "first 20B" application back in the late 80's? This too was a hack to control the 20B.

he'll probably go with their new LTX16 that should be available soon. Ah..only if I had a 20B hmmmm...
I believe the new unit will be called the LTX12S, and not "LTX16"...

Oh, I already have a 20B...

My point is, 7 seconds is fast enough for me. I'm not really concerned with overall driveability in this car. It's a drag racer. If it idles and makes good power at WOT, that's what I want.

As you are one whose opinion in this matter I would value higher than most, may I assume that you would come down on the side of the Haltech?
