I wanted to know if anyone has modified their diff mounts or replaced with something stiffer like the Mazdatrix comp front mount.



I want to get rid of the terrible wheel hop and need to know if I need all 3 mounts or just the front mount. Mazdatrix makes the comp version of the front mount which is much stiffer.

I running the mazdacomp front one. don't buy they mazdatrix ones. same mounts but 2x the price.



I doubt any will get rid of wheel hop... but when you get it, they won't break as easy

 

Yeah, I agree, just get the front mount. I see alot of people who have wheel hop BECAUSE the front mount is bad. One thing some people do is weld to the subframe the part of the mount that bolts to the differential.

 

anyone have some pictures of this sort of thing? I may have a broken mount, I get sort of a clunking sound on clutch engagement sometimes, and wheel hop quite often when launching
