gentlemen,

i have an 87 NA that i would like to begin 'construction' on. i have a little experience with cars in general, none with rotaries specifically, and none with racing or mods.

i have been trying to learn by reading posts and (occasionally) some books, but a lot still confuses me; so i really just want to dive in and do something.

soon i'll be putting in a new clutch, brake pads and probably two rotors, a fuel filter, and whatever else i find i need along the way, but ito enhancements. . . what first? wheels? how big can i go without any body or suspension modification? suspension? mine currently feels like it's going to need to be replaced soon anyway-- really rough.

this car wants to fly, whenever i get on the city streets off the highway, she spits and curses at every stop light. my thought: empower a woman while you're riding her, and what won't she do for you? she wants power; i gotta give her what she wants.

that pretty funny qoute u got there, i would just say what do u want to do in the long run? when i started i never thought id be doing a turbo conversion and wasted lots of money. So just keep in mind what u might want, i know its hard to say though. First thing i would do is goto Rx7.com and buy the bonez midpipe for $150, biggest hp gain for the buck. O bty welcome and have fun!

thanks for the starter, but i couldn't find what you were talking about at rx-7.com. what would it be listed under? also, any idea where to get (other than a junkyard) a driver's side door handle?

Try this one, a website sponsor as well. They have all kinds of add ons for the RX-7. Being that you have an N/A, a Header/exhaust system, and an upgraded intake system would be nice additions.
