I have a intermittent clutch peddle problem. Every once in awhile the clutch peddle doesnt return all the way to the top after I remove my foot off of it. The clutch releases and the car drives fine its just the peddle. Any ideas? Thanks Dan I have changed the fluid and made sure everything was good and bled so I dont think thats the problem. How do I know if the master or slave cylinder is going bad neither one leaks..

Sounds like slave going out. Doesnt always show a visible leak the pressure often just bypasses inside. Change the master with it as the systems are all old and your bound to have to change it sooner than later.

yea just replace the master and slave, your problem is more then likely the slave by itself going bad, but both parts can be had for cheap and no need to have to bleed the system twice since the master will probably go bad shortly after you put a new slave on it anyway lol
