When I bought my fc the brake fluid resivour was almost empty and the brakes barely worked. I filled it up, bled the system, and the brakes worked good for about a week. After that they once again became soft and the resivour was low on fluid. I looked for leaks, but couln't find any. I added fluid again and bled them, and they worked ok again. Today I was driving and the clutch got stuch to the floor when I was in a parking lot. I was able to pull it back up and luckily it still worked. Any idea on what to check? I haven't bled the clutch but I plan to.

look at the rear of the brake master cylinder, where it attaches to the booster, i betcha it leaks there.

the clutch thing sounds like a fluke? maybe shoot some luberication on the pedal bushings? bleeding it would be good too

yes bleed the clutch first, and check everywhere for leaks, by the resy/slave cyclinder/and by the pedal where it attaches

No abs. Its been fine for the past few days. When the weather clears up I'll look at it again.

while we are on the subject....I have a 87 Non-ABS. When i depress the pedal i cant tell if its the clutch or the brake heh. Ive noticed a lot of black grime on the inside rim of my wheels...maybe a leak out of the pistons? Ill check the brake lines as well once the snow goes away... what do you think.
