Carb Question

So carbs are the enemy n stuff j/k
The carb on my 88 is only squirting fuel from the accelerator pump and not from the 4 round things in the throttel body i dont know jack about carbs but the car dies becuase it is not getting any fuel from the what i think are called jets. to keep the car alive i have to keep reving it up so the accelerator pump squirts fuel. what could be the problem???
carb is reciving 6 psi of gas bye the gauge.

Those round things are the booster venturis. The engine doesnt run or idle on that fuel circuit so you wont see anything there.
If its a Holley...There should be a brass screw on the side of the bowls, sight plug. On level ground, open them to see if fuel is in there up to the bottom of the sight plug hole. If not, the floats could be stuck or poorly adjusted. Or something is clogged.

if theres no fuel then theres 2 options.
1. either the carb isnt working, this is possible, but unlikely
or, 2. theres no vacuum on the carb due to leaks.
maybe its just me, but ive rebuilt a bunch of carbs, one for the same "it doesnt move any fuel" reason, and ive never seen a problem, and its never fixed anything.
