on my 85gsl, cant seem to get gas in carb to start in mornings, i have to pour 1/2 ounce of gas down throut and it fires up and runs fine till next morning,,,,i hear pump come on when i turn key on,,and ,,i have noticed that if i pump the gas with just the key on i do not see a squirt of gas, but once cranked it dribbles and squirts fine,,,changed filter, rebuilt carb less than 500 miles ago, removed tiny screens on top of carb,,,,,the kit came with the accelerator pump, could it have gone bad so soon,,,,it activates the squirt doesn't it....

 

maybe theres a peice of dirt in the accelerator pump? or the diaphram is bad or something?
