Everything looks and works on if beside it not pumping fuel in.It came off a running car.Is it possible that I need to dump some fuel down the intake and prime it off it?

How long was the car that it came off of sitting before you pulled the carb??

If it was more than 10 days or so try running carb cleaner through it with a pump. Get the gallon jug type stuff (acetone and something) it will be at your auto parts store. If that dont work try a chem dip.

If you really think it the carb.

Could be accelerator pump.

Would trying a pull start help give the carb a boost to start it up?I heard it helps rebuilt motors.

Yea thats definitly my method but if the jets are stopped up it will run like s#!T. If they are real bad off it probably wont work.....but Id try it for sure.

If you try to use a pump and carb cleaner, try to get ahold of a fuel injected pump. It will probably be submersible but it will be 50 to 100+ psi. It will definitly blow the trash out.

What made you change carb?

Yeah. The pump works and fuel comes out.I'll try a bomb start and see if that helps. After it quits raining.
