I recently aquired a Mikuni carb for a 12a. I'm a little perplexed as to how to deal with the OMP however. There are two ports on the bottom of the float bowl area that appear to be for the oil injection lines, however there are no linkages/provisions for the OMP. I'm not opposed to premixing - as this isn't going into a daily driver anyway. If I do premix, what's the procedure for disabling the OMP? (I couldn't seem to find it in a search).

mmmm i had to modify my weber for the oil lines, doing two littles holes for the lines, or use premix directly,

Well I still believe the two indicated connections on the carb are for the oil lines. I've just looped them to one another for the time being, and stuck the ends of the OMP lines into a can just to try getting the thing running (on premix of course).. and it runs! Took a good while to get it started, I believe I'm having ignition problems now that I can't seem to pinpoint - but might be a coil problem. Unfortunately it's not idling too well, and it has no exhaust past the header.. so it's a wee bit noisy and smokey in the garage when I start it.. my neighbors love me
