Alternator

My new alternator fell out of my friends hands and the post where the pwoer/ground cable bolts on snapped off. Is there any easy way to fix? Should I try and pull the alternator apart or take it to a shop?

The housing is ground out, the post is only for a positive charge.
Do you mean the housing mount/tensioner eye broke off or just the charge post?
