Thumbs down

My damn alternator took a crap on my today in my AE. I was getting gas, and then the car wouldn't even turn over. So I ended up getting a jump start and headed home. Then I was a block from my apartment, and the car died at a red light (right as the light went green). So I pushed the car into a gas station, Walked home and got the vert. When I got back there Sidewinderx7 was there with his 91 TII. I couldn't get the car to run by jumping it, so I took the battery out of the vert, and put it in the AE. The car started right up.

If you're interested in a better than stock alternator you can use a Powermaster GM alternator.

It's a pain to do the belt when you have an air pump, A/C, and P/S.

It isn't that bad, just a pain because you got to pull the other belts off. And my car doesn't have that much room. <_<

I know it's not too bad, but I'm used to having 2 alternator belts and nothing else.

Me too! The alternator is the cleanest thing under the hood.

Today I spent some time cleaning up under the hood, no pics though.
