I would think anything you could do to polish up the runners would improve airflow. Perhaps EXTRUDEHONE them, (Are they still around). They would put abrasive paste through under high pressure which would remove a small amount of material and thus improve airflow.

I think MazdaTrix sells templates for the 6 ports. I know the 6 ports have a baffle in the exhaust which is really hard to cut and grind out. This baffle helps reduce the exhaust noise (or pitch and shrill).

If I was going to rebuild my motor I would probably do at least a street port if I had everything apart. I have previously owned a R-100 with a 13B that was bridge ported. It was a blast above 4000 RPM, but not well suited for the street. It would run a 13' 1/4 mile all day long, but keeping mufflers and rear tires on it was always a problem. It weighed just 1800 lbs. But like many things I wish I still had it.

Just use the TII housings, they don;t have those baffles. Isn't Rotaryman88 selling ported intake runners?

The exhaust splitters can be cut out. It takes a while, but it's cheaper than buying new rotor housings. Finding good used TII rotor housings is pretty tough.
