i have a 10ae and the motor im putting into it hasnt been started in over a year, and its not locked up but isnt there a way to lubricate the seals or somthing i should do b4 i try to start it? thanks

 

If its still a good motor - just frozen because of carbon lock, you can use MMO or ATF. They will foul your plugs though, so you'll need new spark plugs - if your car has cats, you'll smoke for a while even after it burns it out.



Typically when you put it in (through the spark plug holes) you want it to sit for at least 24 hours - the longer the better.
