When did new cars start getting ugly?

I think it happened somewhere in the mid 90's... the new models cars used to look cool... now they just suck, what happened? who is designing these pieces of ****?

Apparently you did not know this, but in 1995 they started making "the Car." This was inspired by the aftermarket in the hopes that "the Car" would only look different after heavily modified with some sort of body kit or spoiler. The aftermarket has thrived ever since. Unfortunately they must make bigger, fatter, and more-useless wings and body kits to make a modified "the Car" look different from the other modified "the Car's."

Not all of the newer cars look bad...just most of the ones available in this country for a reasonable amount of money.
