Have a power window that goes up about a third with a grinding noise. I can see the cables but cannot figure out the problem. Does anyone know where I can get some info. It looks like one of the cables has come loose from the motor. And it looks like both cables are on the same plastic roller. I have a full factory manual but it has no schematic of the power window assembly. HELP! Any info would be greatly appreciated. I have most of the door apart.

 

Can you post any pics of the mechanism in your door?
