I remember seeing a thread on how to redo the aux port actuators on the s4 so that they are hooked to the air pump instead of the exhaust, but I cant find it anymore. Does anyone know what Im talking about or know how to do this?

Thnx

Andy

NM - trying to get that stupid steel vac line off I busted one of the banjo bolts. Hopefully I can find that at NAPA or something.

I did for a bit on my S4..

Then I ditched my air pump..

The ports still opened for me even without the airpump.. I had enough backpressure from the exhaust to kick them open.. And I was running a stainless steel 2.25" midpipe (no cats).. stock manifold and stock mufflers..

I am setting up port actuation electrionically right now using the same actuators you see on door popper kits.. only instead of momentary actuators they are locking actuators. Mounting them on the ACV block off plate.. I'll have pics and stuff.. Eventually..

Is this the hose that you hook the air pump feed to. Thanks,

John
