I remember seeing a thread on how to redo the aux port actuators on the s4 so that they are hooked to the air pump instead of the exhaust, but I cant find it anymore. Does anyone know what Im talking about or know how to do this?

I did for a bit on my S4..



Then I ditched my air pump..



The ports still opened for me even without the airpump.. I had enough backpressure from the exhaust to kick them open.. And I was running a stainless steel 2.25" midpipe (no cats).. stock manifold and stock mufflers..



I am setting up port actuation electrionically right now using the same actuators you see on door popper kits.. only instead of momentary actuators they are locking actuators.
