5th And 6th Port

What do you guys mean when you talk about the 5th and 6th port not opening when you dont have enuf back pressure, what and where are thoes ports? Are they the exhaust ports?

Or do the S5's dont have to worry about back pressure since they use air pumps.

Check the FAQ section in here... there are a few threads on this. Basically, the ports are to stay closed at lower rpm for better torque around town and then open up when you lay on it for more high rpm power.

are they the ports that are on like the middle slab in the engine? And they work simlar to the TVIS system on the Toyota 4AGE or the dual runner on the GSR integra?
