Ok, we have completed 4 other prototypes of the manifolds using different flow designs and porting sizes....we're going back to the dyno next Friday(sorry its a ways away) to test them all and get numbers and see which are worth doing and which aren't....we found an '88 GXL that is all stock to borrow to test the advantages(if any) on a stock block....

I'd love to have that kind of power from a single part. Let us all know when those puppies will be available, and I'll be first in line for a street or street/strip. Hell yeah!
Get the dual exhaust from Mazdatrix, you'll get a bigger gain than 20 hp. It is a lot of $$ though.

I know we've discussed the Mazdatrix dual exhausts before, but I would really rather have something on there that was full-time legal, and with livable noise characteristics. I've been considering the Mazdatrix grey system, with the Racing Beat header, tiny cat, and Racing Beat cat-back. Either that or the stock manifold, a Bonez Super-flo cat and the Racing Beat cat-back.

...Of course, all of this is a vision that I have for the car, because there is NO WAY I can afford such an exhaust set-up right now.

hey, that sounds great i would luv to get 20 more hp, i think my (mostly) stock 87 could use, some more power, i think its rated at 145 rite now.

but 20 hp wow!, i'll take one please....

wait a second...if i get 2, THAT'll be 40hp increase!!...

i know! i knOW!, give me 100 of them, that will be a 2000 HP INCREASE!!!

HAHA i'll be the only rex with 2145 hp in the universe!, SOON I'll be master of the rotary universe!

If you sell them to me for free, i'll let you be my sidekick!!!! we can patrol and dominate the rotary world together.

I'll be waiting for the shipment.

AHH, lol...sorry I didn't get to you all. OK...well, I still have no scanner but basically...you stock guys...you don't want one. Lol...they gained 2.4 HP on the stock motor...thats a stock block w/ ALL original exhaust and intake everything else! Basically...the best design we can make easily and still produce noticeable power will be using a 4mm port on all sides...along w/ polished the inlets..the flow is greatly increased. We put them back on the SP motor and it shows 12.3RWHP gained...the greater ports work better..BUT they also cut it REALLY close to the edge of the manifold wall and it won't be useful if you accidently banged a hole in it, lol..

We have also decided to offer polishing on the exterior..for a $50 increase. And I'm not talking that cheezy lil dremel polish. I mean powdercoated chrome...SHINY!!! Anyways..we'll have to do the manifolds on a core trade in basis because the supply of these is running low(we only have 8 right now of the upper and only 3 lower)....I'm in the midst of making a website w/ pricing and more info(along w/ the dyno charts) to sell. We are also going to be making center console peices, CUP HOLDERS, and other lil things here and there. We are also going to start working on some 3" TIDs for you turbo guys...I'll let you know the web address when its ready for public viewing, lol....
