I called Nippon-Motors, I had read previous info from RXSTASY and he and others seemed to have good luck with them. They told me on the phone that there very hard to get nowadays. FC3S.org is an awesome place from what I've heard, but they raised the priced to $1050 for a freaking S4 13BT!! That just seems way to high for me, especially for a rebuild core (essentialy). Anyone else got somehwere good to direct me too? I'm been trying to find someone with a blown one/running, but I need a longblock (TII swap). All help appreciated.

Getting ready for a TII swap huh? Have fun...

I bought my original Jspec from FC3S.org. Paid $1000 for a S5 motor, it was blown but it took me more then 90 days to complete the swap and find out the motor was shot, so I ate that price(they give you a 90day money back gaurantee)...however, dave gibson is a good guy and will try his best to work with you.

The blocks are getting harder to find these days, but you'll just need to keep an eye out, check thepartstrader.com and ebay. You could also check local salvage yards. I know our main salvage yard here stocks long block 13BTs and 13BTTs. I'll check on their prices, and maybe I could get one for you and have it shipped if you'd like...

Well, scratch that..just called the salvage yard up..they are all out...they dont even have the NAs in stock!!! They must be selling damn well!

I guess ur best bet would be to find a blown motor and rebuild it if possible, or maybe a parts car...that will make ur life 10Xs easier...

Parts car would be nice..but I'm still living with my parents..haha...its free!!! Anways, I dont think our neighborhood board thing would be to happy with that..they get mad enough when i started my n/a off the header...haha!

I already have my TII trans, I'm going to run a custom driveshaft so I can still use my n/a rear end (till i break it), along with an EMS, so that eleminates alot the hassle. I would prefer to find a nice, clean, blown longblock, and have money left to rebuild. I hope this works out..when I didn't have cash, they were shooting all over the place for sale. Thanks for calling those guys though. Apprecitate it and any other help you can give me.

Revvin, did u sell that other T2 conversion setup???

Anyways...lol. What EMS you going w/? It would be worth it to swap the rear and use a T2 driveshaft..a custom one will cost more then a stocker, not to mention, if you go w/ a custom driveshaft and the NA rear end snaps...the custom driveshaft will have to be redone to accomodate the larger T2s flange to the rear...

If your base model, 4 lug and are worried over swapping the rear end cuz of the 5 lug thing, its no big deal, you can use a T2 driveline and keep ur 4lugs..i did

She's a GXL, so I'm already 5lug'd...good point on the custom driveshaft, but Supra7 from teamfc3s gave me a cool way to work around that. He told me to get a TII driveshaft and TII flange...and take my n/a flange to a machine shop and have them match it to the TII flange...that way it will fit. And if/WHEN more like I snap my n/a rear end. I'll still have the TII driveshaft. How hard was it for you to do the rear end? Drop the subframe as a whole?

I'm looking for used E6k's 900-1k area.....or...... still thinking strongly about the LT-8. I just think it'd save me alot of hassles to go with the EMS now, even though I'm just going to run the stock turbo (maybe hybrid) for awhile.
