Question to the educated rotary experts here.



Abel Abarri did a 6.95@199.5 with his RX-7 weighing 2150lb. The Moroso calculator says thats 1250hp approx.



What do you guys think the max power of a 20B can be without exploding within the first 5 seconds of producing it.



Personally, I think 45psi in a perfectly tuned engine would be maxing out at around the 1200 - 1300hp area.



Any thoughts.........???

a 3 rotor dont need that much boost to produce that kind of power, just to let you know Puerto Rico has the fastest RX7 3 rotor called Siguel he made 1200 on 21psi but his engine is alcohol and periferal. and he ran not that long ago running against PEPE Loco new 3 rotor and won with a time of 6.89 at 195mph. so i think around that is the maximum so far around 1200 to 1400 that i know of maybe more but nobody wants to say. the man of the 3 rotor is Siguel, he has been working in the since around 1991 or so, so he know what he is doing. you probably have seen the car sometimes it comes out on the banner for nhraimport he used to run here but now he stayed in PR. you can go to pistonvsrotor.com that is a website in puerto rico and if you can have somebody to translate you could get informed. hope this helps. when im done with my 3 rotor i would tell you wat power i was able to make. shooting for 1000 but we will see.

I am happy to make 400hp as I still have the 20B in its original location....... Inside my Cosmo & registered on the streets.
