Not yet, but I did a little measuring of where the radiator is going to go, and it looks like my 16" fan will just clear the waterpump pulley if I mount the fan far to the left.

So if I used that RB blockoff, and used or made a fitting for the turbo supply port (around 3/8" ID at least), it would reverse the flow through the tubular dowel pins and then it would go up through the blockoff and then down to the rear reg. That makes sense since the rear regulator would be the last in line. Racer X, that would force the oil into the bearings and E shaft before it gets 'wasted' through the reg and back into the pan. That will be more oil for the engine. The only downside would be if there is a direction-sensitive oil passage, like maybe the OMP feed before it flows into the front cover passages etc. So if there aren't any directional 'galleys' or whatever, I'd much rather prefer to use the front plate's port.

Ahh, yeah that should work with the RB adapter then.

Thanks for the encouragement.

I removed the drain plug and gazed down into the hole. It looks good. I've been testfitting NPT fittings in the hole. They don't match perfectly, but they are very close. The rules I'm following are ID size needs to be at least 3/8 or 10mm (I've got drillbits for both), and the fitting can't leak. I've got hylomar and teflon tape.

Check out this picture. It's the Post Falls 20B2000 with an Atkins 9" SC. I assume the SC gets its oil from here. I've got to come up with something with a larger inner diameter than this. I think I'm almost there.

Very soon. Now that I've almost got the oil problem figured out, the next step is further tweaking of the firewall and tranny tunnel. Luckily, the RB blockoff is pretty small and shouldn't get in the way of the brake lines. Also, getting that 10" fan helps my MG project along.

I have a few goals for this week.

1) set up the drillpress

2) pull the tranny in the MG

3) try to test fit the 20B

If I were you I'd make a fitting and use a crushwasher like it does factory. Go from whatever straight thread it is to a -8 male JIC or maybe a -10 male JIC (aka "AN"). If you can't find the righ tfitting you can always make one by using a TIG welder. Thats what I dod for my trubo supply line.

14mm (I think) adaptors in AN sizes? I have a few ideas to try.

Hey yeah, you're right. I know now what must be done about the oil fitting. I'll use those crush washers that came with the stock oil bolt and drill through the top of it now that I have a vice for the drillpress. It should be easy compared to before. I might also need a little brass fitting, which I could pick up whenever. Ok, that problem is solved. I just to get out there and do it now.
