I've got two stock nikkis. I just need the air bleeds or something moddified so they'll work on a plenum. Or maybe I could get another Edelbrock 750? According to peejay (I use this guy's info a lot), the carb size doesn't matter. The carb is just a valve to meter fuel into the engine. Theorectically, I could run two 750 CFM carbs and be just fine. Or two 'smaller' Nikkis. It doesn't really matter. I just don't know if I want to possibly screw up two good carbs.

S far, I'm leaning towards mounting the 750 a little forward of center so the front rotor can get a little more (all six runners will be open and flowing). Should I install a baffle directly below the carb?

I found peejay's quote.

Carbs don't care about engine size. They don't care about when the car makes power. They meter fuel for a given amount of airflow going through it.

Dual quads, anyone?

I do like the idea of tripple IDA action. I'd like to do that some day. Either like that one FB from japan with 2.5 carbs (one carb was missing a barrel), or the Porche flat six something something. Or three SU carbs, if I were a bit less ignorant about the dashpot and tappets.

How's this idea? What if I installed a baffle directly below the carb that runs the length of the six runners? Would fuel condense on it and then drip into the runners causing poor running?

Yeah, a diffuser, but I don't even know where to begin on something like that. Any suggestions?

I spoke with my dad and he suggested up to three diffusers stacked on top of each other with holes of various sizes drilled throughout. On the top one, it should have more holes at the ends to sort of carry the AF mixture further away from the carb. The next two should have various sized holes evenly spaced to randomise the AF mixture as much as possible. It should reduce distrubution problems... that's the theory anyway. Thanks for your help.

Aside from working on the 13B that'll go into my MG, I started working on the intake side of the 20B. I figured out a way to block the primary injector holes.
