20b In A Glc
They're still out in BFE, but it says they'll be here like on Wednesday or something.
The oil pan plate is nearing completion. The rough cuts are done. All it needs now is some finishing work and a good cleaning so sealant will stick to it. My custom dipstick tube will be next.

Since I'm using a 13B pan, the sump is too far forward for the stock dipstick. I've since figured out a simple way to still get accurate oil level readings by using a different tube a bit further forward.
The pan is now on with some gasket maker curing. I wonder how oil-tight it'll be.

My fuel pumps arrived yesterday from Summit. I also found out I had a nail in my REPU rear tire. I was looking for an excuse to stop driving it anyway as there are several other little things that need attention such as a broken oil cooler mount, leaking radiator (this just happened last week), slipping belts, inadequite fuel pump, etc. I also would very much like to put this old engine in my MG Midget project. The timing of all this may work out for the best. Maybe I could even put this 13B in my GLC? Well at first anyway?
I'm going to install the waterpump on the 20B if I can find my set of little flat metal washers.
