20b Exhaust Plates Removal

I'm also having a hard time removing mine..



Does anyone has a more easy way than drilling those pins out?Drilling them out is a pain in the *** as they're made from steel that's almost as hard as the drill itself



1 is out, 2 to go

will the aluminum housing withstand the exhaust heat without the sleeves..

Yeah, I think so, but engine temp will be much higher so you will prolly get cooling problems...

I don't know how the hell you guys get them out without breaking down the engine. Itos method is to tack weld a few times on the spring pin then grab onto the tack weld with a pair of dykes and pull it out.

if you dont have a welder handy what also works is using some quality wood screws to screw into the spring pin and pull them out.
