How do you mean 'best'? Each system has its perks and shortcomings.

Haltech and Microtech both have a decent user base. I THINK Haltech's online presence is a bit greater, but I might be mistaken.

I don't know of anyone using an AEM, but MoTeC is a very capable system. It comes with a pretty hefty pricetag as well, though.

What are you intending to use the car for? Drag? Street? Road Racing?

It was doing just fine up until last month. I took it off the road to get it repainted. I finally, after 2.5 years, have a single colored car. LOL.

Seriously, though, I've only had one issue with the setup. A couple of times, I would go to start the car when it was REALLY cold outside. It would fire up an start to idle, but due to the cold start not being fully dialed in, it would shut off. I'd go to restart it, and it would just turn and turn. I figured out that if I unplugged the ECU and plugged it back in, the car would fire up immediately. Really odd. I'm wondering if it had something to do with some of my other wiring in the car. I THINK I have that taken care of now.

Besides that, I love it! Thanks, Mike!

I'm going to try my luck with a MegaSquirt. The price is definitely right.

How big of an invertor is it Jeff, hell you could finish it all up with a home theater system in the back!
