she runs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! got her started tonight after work!!!!!!!

talked with Brian at rotorsports and he put me on the right direction. has some hesitation when the throttle is pushed too quickly but i think thats something that can be taken care of in the haltech software somewhere right?

but i'm on cloud nine tonight, still more than a few things that need to be worked out but atleast she runs.

Loi

P.S. thanx to everyone on this board who has helped or tried to help me during this project. there's absolutely no way i would have gotten this far without the nopistons family.

So it only starts with it's nose up in the air?

if it cuts out at quick throttle movement you need to tune your throttle pumps...

sounds like the car just needs tuning overall.

So how do you start it, and what did you change to make it work?

seems i had the FPR at the front of the fuel system instead of at the end like it should have been. i don't recall switching them but apparently i did at some point. the stock fpr is just a bypass to bleed off excess pressure back to the gas tank, i'm an idiot, atleast i fixed it though. now to get it to start while all four wheels are on the ground....

i guess i could bring one of those race jacks around with me and just jack it up when i need to start it?

well, ran the car down the road today. it was ok, really needs to be tuned. solved the problem with it starting on the ground. seems commanda was right, a voltage problem. somehow when the car was in the air the engine was grounded, but when the car was on the ground whatever it was that was grounding the engine came off or whatnot. went and bought a grounding strap and the car started right up like a champ, 2 new problems. my oil cooler leaks like its paid to do so, and my radiator cap on the 2nd gen water pump leaks as well.

besides that the car runs, i'm very pleased.

ok, anyone know where i can find a GSL-SE oil-cooler for like $10? and a 2nd gen radiator cap...
