o yeah, i tried the primer map thingy. i raised it 2 clicks, it still didn't start. should i raise it more?

Did not know he had a gsl-se, Sorry guys. 12a cars, the mounting bracket has to be redrilled.

As long as its primed it will raise itself when it starts.Wierd that you have a bind tho.

Or you get the SE crossmember and use a 12a motor mount bracket like I did on my 83.I lucked out on my 84.It came with the SE brakes and suspension

i don't know if it's a bind at this point or maybe the starter isn't catching the flywheel all the way or something. when i try to crank it there's a clicking sound, kinda like the starter is spinning a little but not turning the flywheel. like the teeth are touching but not catching, i dunno. i'm gonna take the starter off tommorow and check it for any funny signs of wear.

i'm using my stock se ignition as well, if there's anything that needs to be done to that in order for the car to start please lemme know. other than that i'm quite clueless as to why my engine is not starting, guess this was bound to happen with a $250 project car LOL.
