i bought and 1986 rx-7 about 3 months ago and of course it had a 13B in it, but i heard from most people that live around here with them all run the 12A. so i went out and bought a 12A out of cali. thinking i would port it out and rebuild it, and get the super cool, super fast race car i had always wanted. but the only real person i could talk to about the motor has gone on a business trip and its been forever (2 months) since ive talked to him. i need to know if you guys could tell me where i could get a rebuild kit for cheaper then say the 400 dollars the dealer wants to charge and if there is maybe a way for someone like me to port it out or find somebody close to me that could. im desperate for help! someone please respond!

If I were you I would have bought another 13B: more hp

 

Oh yeah, they might have a kit here too........
