My '79 with a '86 13B, Puffs out a small white cloud of smoke when you let off the gas to shift beyond 6,500 rpm. Does this mean that my oil control rings are worn, the engine only has 25,000 miles on it?

White smoke usually means coolant is burning.Might be a bad coolant seal.

It doesn't seem to use any the level in the overflow has dropped about a half inch in 6 months, would that be consistent to that being the problem?
