Well the Cosmo alternator plug is definitely not the same as the 12a plug, but that's okay.

Hopefully I can wire it this weekend.

Thanks for the advice guys.

I feel like I haven't posted in here in months.

I felt I should let all of you know that my opinion of any car part vendors has dropped to a minimum.

I ordered a U-Bend from Burns Stainless Feb. 18th. Gave them my info, well, confirmed it because they already had it from a previous order. They say it will be here on the 25th, which is perfect, that way I can get this beast RUNNING at some point over the weekend. It ships UPS, just to let you know. Well, Friday comes and it's not here. I call today and the order was never even ENTERED.

Supposedly it will be here tomorrow. ::crosses fingers::

As promised, I got the u-bend in today. Now to check hood clearances...I'll probably stop by NOPI (don't laugh, they carry good stuff) tomorrow to pick up an extra silicone coupler and clamps.

Okay so here's what I accomplished tonight:

[attachment=28955:attachment]

It took a lot of finagling and hard thinking to get the cuts on the pipe right, but it's solid now .

Now I just need to fix the problem with the other side:

I think if I just cut the TB elbow to mate up with that pipe all should be well.

In addition, I need to clean this up a bit:

[attachment=28958:attachment]

So, here's what I need to finish:

1) Hook up the alternator (still haven't done it)

2) Connect the battery and fuse the main power wire from the ECU

3) Hook up the clutch master cylinder

4) Fill the engine/trans with fluids and replace the oil filter

5) Get a base map and zero the ignition time

6) Crank it!

Here's a current engine bay shot:
