well, before I read that post.....

I went out this AM and again tried to start it....nothing.

Double checked the dizzy timing...wayy the **** off...

Re-set the timing

tried again to start...nothing...

I pulled the plugs and tried again, no spark ?!?!!? Did the second ignitor just quit on me?

Welp, I said F it, and tossed the MSD in there. Direct fire, leadings only. Damn thing started up on first turn...

It runs for ~10 seconds, then dies...won't restart unless I pump gas once, then Vroom, right back on. Accel pump is working, the rest of the carb is not. I'm not happy that the motor seems ti be fine.

Today I:

Installed MSD inside the car, added third coil, replaced second faulty ignitor, added e-fan, new rad hoses, fresh coolant, oil change (10w30) new NGK plugs, new moroso wires (I made to length), new fuel filter, new fuel lines.

Now I'm looking for another answer. I could rebuild the carb, but I'd rather have a bit more go, you know? Since the motor will be internally stock for awhile, only other mod I can think of doing would be a "true-duals" exhaust setup.

Will I need an upgraded nikki for that? Anything I can do one my own? What about IDA's or sidedraft? Yaw power, or the "sterling" carb?
