Omp Questions

Ive got a 6 port 91 engine Im setting up to go in my 1st gen chassis. Ill be running a GSL-SE front cover. And a non-racing beat holley carb. Should I run my OMP lines directly to the rotor housings or directly to the float bowl of the holley carb? Im not sure If I trust running OMP directly to the rotor housings. And I do not want to PREMIX on my daily driver. Does anyone have any experience with this tips, recomendations? Thanks! Carl

if you have 4 omp lines then run 2 to each. if you only have 2 i think the carb would be better?

I am running mine into the fuel bowl sight plugs.

The stock car runs them into the housings. Mazda claimed it was an improvement because it injected the oil into the most critical part of the housing.

I guess it would be the most critical since it is also the coldest part of the cycle. Makes perfect sense.

Just bought a GSL-SE front cover with 4 oil lines,etc. Ill run 4 lines just to be safe! Thanks!

This thread got me thinking about something. If the lubricant is fed straight onto the seal that should actually boost compression by putting a nice film across the edge of the apex seal. Only concern would be what type of oil to use to keep it from caking up under the apex seal. I think I'll give this a shot and check it out.

I didnt get it But i have another question? when you turbo a N/A car and keep the oil metering vacuum lines,,,,Do u have to put a check valve on the vac line so boost doenst go to the oil injectors?
