OK.. it seems like I will finally have time to work on the Turbo 2 engine for my REPU.. I am gonna make it carbed with a Blow thru turbo system..

I need to get some parts for my engine from a First Gen to put in my S5 engine.. I know I am supposed to get and electronic Dizzy.. Are those the ones from an 81-84 FB..

I am also considering putting in the mechanical oil metering system..(will probably still use premix) What year car has what I need and what stuff would I need to accomplish this..am I gonna need the front cover, oilpan stuff like that? I am gonna go to the wrecking yards on the weekend so I want to know exactly what I am looking for so I can get it all ready..

ok

#1 any dizzy from an 80-85 rx7 will work (80 is a little different) you should get the coils from the same car, or you can use the repu ones

#2 you want an 83+ front cover it has a spot for the turbo oil drain and will bolt in your truck (any pre 86 front cover will bolt in)

OK, Mike.. Heres the skippy on the situation.. My truck was abused it it's earlier days.. Sadly the previous owner had installed a Piston engine(GASP!) in it.. so the crossmember for the engine was cut off and new mounts were made.. Now I have to make a new crossmember for it and new mounts..

anyway, is using a different oil pan Just basically for clearance issues, cause if it is I can just use the stock one and make the engine mounts so that the pan has clearance..

ah i think i see, well the repu/rx4 pan is the best bolt in fit, but you cant buy them new and they are hard to find used (you need it to do a 13b rx2/3), so maybe the fc pan would work, or a gsl-se pan? i dunno. i know on the rx2/3 when you do a 13b with a gsl-se pan you have to put it on backwards
