I started to put my LIM and stuff back together, and realized that, in the removing process, I broke one of the brittle oil metering lines. I figured I'll just go ahead and replace all 4 right there. I followed them down to where the originate (OMP?) and found a bunch of crud, so I'm thinking I had oil leaking down there, too.

Are those lines something I can get at an auto parts store, or do I have to order those from somewhere? And is there some kind of gasket, seal, or o-ring I need to get for where those lines connect at their lower connection? This is the only thing setting me back right now.

I would get rid of them and run PRE-MIX. The lines are ~ 25 each from Mazdatrix or mazdaformance.

it's a daily driver, and I don't want to deal with that...I'd rather replace the lines, it seems safer that way...plus these lasted this long, new ones wouldn't hurt

Yes, you can order them through Mazdatrix. I would take the omp off and clean it up before putting it back on. That way if one of the lines is leaking you have a better chance of isolating it and tightening it down. I re-used the washers on mine when I did my rebuild. It was leaking a bit at first but just needed a little tightening down.

yeah, I need to do some major degreasing in that area...I think I'll do that before I get the new ones, so I don't damage anything

on second thought, maybe I should just replace the one line...anyone have these lines randomly break, without your help? I'm thinking, this one broke by my hand, maybe the others will be fine.

Same thing happened to me, I broke one of the lines going to the housing. I decided to replace the two housings lines at the time and then the two manifold ones at a later date, mostly just to fan out the cost since my credit card bill was getting a little high. Pre-mixing would be great, but I would end up forgetting or something, lol.

Damn, can't you replace the lines with silicone hose or something cheaper?
