Oil Metering Hoses
#1
I bought all 4 oil metering lines to replace. I think I have 2 of the same, considering 2 are green, and none are yellow. In the Haynes manual, I found how they hook up to the pump, but I lost track of how they hook up to the nozzles. Anyone know which nozzles hook to which positions on the pump?

I called mazdatrix once about this, and they said, it doesn't matter. I justed lay them there and what ever way the felt the best without putting any stress on the lines.
I know the hanes manual has it labled wrong the figure if you compare it to an untouched engine. The all have diferent colors. go to fc3s.org and look it up on the factory manual they have there.

i like to hook them up up top first, then they kinda sort themselves at the bottom. its pretty easy. the metering pump side of the lines is smaller. so the big ends go up. also 2 of the lines are longer up top. on will face the right way, and one will face the other way.

yeah, I wrote down what they were before I took the old ones off, and that didn't agree with what the haynes book had, so I figured I had it wrong
I'll just put them wherever they'll go, like you said, if it doesn't matter
