Yeah i just checked...just to be sure. nope, got it right the first time. ive got tomorrow so im going to try and get the fuel lines cleaned out tomorrow. put some hose on one end and shove a an air compressor air gun up the hose, and pull the trigger. i want to see dirt fly....

If the carb isn't getting any fuel theres a good chance theres a clog there.Especially if you bought the car with no fuel filter.Somethings not right there.

well if the fuel in the sight glass is level, then where should i be looking? fuel lines or carb??? and its raing so i cant take apart the fuel lines

I think thats good then.It's been awhile since I had a nikki.Can you hear the pump running?I thought it wasn't running?

no i can hear it, its running. but like i said, if fuel in the sight glass is halfway, doesnt that mean the carb is getting the right amount of fuel???

geez I can remember if thats the right amount or not.Do you know anyone that might have a stock carbed FB?You might need to find a running one and see that on it to make sure.Mike might know tho.He has enough first gens.

from what i can tell i think the carb is running fine. but when i took the carb off, i noticed some sort of throttle valve looking thing on the intake manifold, not attached to the carb. what the **** is that, i cant find it anywhere in the manuals. and it looks like it is stuck open, i see no rods or anything attached to it to make it open or close. when the weather perks up a bit im going to take the carb back off and take a closer lok. i just remembered when i took it off originally i noticed it then and it didnt seem right, but im going to take a closer look soon. the fuel lines seem to be fine, seem to be great for how old it is really. no trash or rust. and from what i can tell the carb is ok too. so im running VERY low on options here.

I would say your options are low but that might be a good thing.
