I just picked up a 12A to transplant into my baja bug and I need to get a shop manual for it so I can figure out what the *@$^ I am doing. I don't know much about the motor, except it has 12A on the housing, and I guess the serial number(U30633.) Anyone know what year or any info? Thanks.

Any chance you can post a pic of the the 12A ? Mazda made them from 1972 through 1985 with quite a few changes. A picture would help a lot...cheers.
