Hey guys,

Im new to nopistons.com so whats up to everyone...

I've had no luck with my problem on Rx7club.com so im trying here.

So here goes...

Ive had an 84 Gslse for about a year now. 80k original miles.

Recently, it has started acting strange. It will start and drive fine until its at normal operating temperature. Occasionally after about 25 to 30 minutes of average driving it will buck once and then run on only rotor number one. I did a compression test and everything comes up with roughly 110. ive done the old school way of testing spark and taken the plug wires off of the plugs at idle and visually checking for spark and increase in spark as well as steady spark. Everything seems fine there. Ive changed plugs numerous times. Deflooded the engine, blah blah blah. At this point the OMP is bracketing off and i'm premixing a 100:1 ration of tcw-3 outboard marine 2-stroke oil. I still have have the air pump and stock everything. No performance mods at all. Its got a new fuel pump and filter. New cap and rotor. It runs better than ever when it runs. Seems like its running rich the way it drives but smells cleaner than ever before. When housing 2 stops running, it feels like a piston engine with a blown head gasket. Fuel pressure is good. Any ideas guys?

thanks for everyones time to read this

Dude! you could try to narrow that problem by first swapping the injector leads and see if your fault swaps to the front housing... if so then youll know your wiring is faulty...if it doesnt swap the fault try moving the rear injector to the front housing...if that swaps the fault then youll know its actually the injector thats faulty...but if nothing changes... back to the drawing board but at least you wont have to replace good parts.
