i GOT A 1982 RX-7, WITH A 13B SWAP OUT OF A 1984, A SET OF WEBER TIPO 2 Stage dual 2 bbl. carbs sitting on a rotary enginering intake. Anyway, I recently purchased this god damn car. It had a miss in it, so i thought i would tune it up. $85 later, replacing everything expect the coils, and the piece of **** still misses. I am getting real f%cking tired of working on this car. It stalls when i let the choke off or when i put it in nuetral at a stop. I timed this so it should run fine. Also, when slowing down for a corner or stop it pops and kinda backfires during deccleration. Any1 have any ideas at all?

I guess i might as well overhaul the god damn carbs while i am at it, but i don't think that's the problem.

If you haven't already checked the compression, do it before you spend any more time or money on the car. Does the engine pull hard when you wind it out? Or does it miss under acceleration as well?
