5th and 6th ports

I have seen alot of peoplle on this forum who have done this to their first gen. What are the pro's and con's of doing this and how exactly do you do it? Also is it possible to do on a 12a?

heh, ok I just realized that a stock 12a is not going to have a 5th and 6th port. my bad.
